differences between V6 and V8 T5s?

Transmission: T56
differences between V6 and V8 T5s?
I was just wondering what is the difference between the T5 as used with V6s and the T5 as used with the LB9 5.0L TPI, internally mostly? i've heard that the V6 t5 has a 14 spline input shaft, and the V8 t5 has a 26 spline input shaft, is this true?
