t5 swap (vss)question

Axle/Gears: 3;27 9 bolt
t5 swap (vss)question

im swapping t5 from 88 formula into my 88 camaro . the speedo sensor on the t5 is for the electric speedo .mine is mechanical .ive switched auto trans before with the same cercumstances . but the speed sensor on this t5 doesnt look like i can just switch it with the gear driven one .was there a different tail houseing on the camaro t5s with the mechanical speedo gear?

T-5 to T-5 should be a direct swap.
