i was reading the new car craft the other day and their doing a buildup on a 1991 formula 350, when they said they ran the numbers on the tranny, or something like that, that it had a 4l60E. They also stated that these came in out of the factory with these, would mine have it because mine is a 90 formula or was that just 350 only?

 

No thirdgens whatsoever came with the 4L60E.

 

its what car craft said unless they ****ed up i was wondering about that cause ive never heard of that.

 

Maybe they meant 4L60?

 

I didnt even realize i put an "E" at the end they did just say 4l60

 

4L60 = 700-4R

They are identical, they just changed the name in about 90 or so. No parts changed.
