either seems to do the job. I had a problem w/ my bearing that I bought. When putting the tranny in it caught on the inner race of the bearing and I drew in the tranny using the bell housing bolts. It destroyed it and performed poorly. I have sinced switched to a bushing style and haven't had any problems. Less moving parts, and I'm all about keeping it stupid simple.

I absolutely agree about keeping it "stupid simple". Bushing is the way to go! maybe a 8617?

Bringing a back an old Post. I am now in the process of installing the above parts into the car and well they don't fit so well. 1st I'm having a problem with the input shaft completely reaching the pilot bearing. It's like the input shaft is to short, but I had the understanding the LT box's were closer to the same dimensions as the 700-R4 I took out? So I should have the right Box? I was thinking that maybe the Front intermediate plate. Billet.PN- 8705-11 that replaces the OE front plate may be too long and is taking away from the input shaft reaching the pilot bearing? Also has anybody used Mcleod's Modular Bellhousing for a T-56 swap? Any help would be appreciated.
