SGi-5 B Problems
SGi-5 B Problems
So I just finished my t-56 swap up and bought my sgi box and hooked it all up but I can’t get it to give me a number that I can adjust to any ware near accurate. I did a search on the board to remedy this but I seem that nobody has the problem that I have. I can only get out but 3 to give me a reading and it’s either way to low and can’t be adjusted higher with the up button or way to high and can’t be adjusted with the down button. Now this isn’t a problem for all the previous post because they all have TPI which requires a higher reading than the TBI. But as soon as I attempt to move the output to out 4 or 5 I get absolutely no reading. Anybody want to help me out here I am puzzled the only thing I can figure is that the out put 3 is a AC out put and 4 and 5 are OC? Can I make this work for me?

it's been so long I can't remember it all but, look for my name and sgi-5 (along those lines) any way the one works but, is too high? look at the chart again there is a dip that will slow it way down. I will have to look for my chart but, I remember having a problem and ended up figuring out how to slow it down on my own
I just looked at how they patterned the slowing down of the signal and started flipping switches and the funny thing was I got it dead nuts on
I guess we must have lost those old posts
if you send me a copy of the instructions I will help you out
