Axle is leaking on passenger side
The rear end axel is leaking 90 weight oil outta the paasenger side seal. This is getting on the brake disc and generally everywhere else. Its on my '90 IROC its a G92 package rearend. How hard is this to repair. Im pretty good at mechanical things but i aint ever fooled with a rearend . Any help or advice would be appreciated.

What he said....
Worst thing is, the reason it leaks, is probably because the axle is wasted.
If the place where it runs in the bearing is anything but smooth and flat, like practically indistinguishable from the rest of that section of the axle, then it's destroyed.

don't they have axle savers or something which relocate the point there the bearing and the seal actually sit on the axle? That might be an option if axle has some damage, right?
or it might just be worn out seal.
