Manual to Auto Swap Without Removing Engine
I realy want to have the car driveable before winter, cuz Im getting tired of working at night in an unheated garage whens theres a foot of snow outside the door. I can hook my stock T5 setup to it just so I can move the car from place to place before it finds a garage for winter. But is doing a manual to auto swap a lot more difficult with the engine in? Its getting a TH350 by the way.

When all the bearings have been spun, its time for a rebuild. Theres no engine in it now, hasnt been for almost a year.

no you dont have to yank it, i've done three trans swaps all with the engines in place. just me and my dad under the car pulling the trans out, its a tight fit but it works.
