what do you need pictures for, its a straight forward install. Pull the console, pull the rubber boot, bam there's the shifter. 4 bolts, shifter pops off. same 4 bolts, new one goes on. reverse everything else.
you'll love the shifter, thats for sure. much cleaner and crisper shifts. I had a B&M Ripper and never did get over how much better it felt compared to stock.

doesn't make a bit of difference if its in neutral or not, because once you get the shifter unbolted, you'll see that there is a shift block in the trans that the end of the shifter slips down into. Once the plate is unbolted, you can slide the shifter plate around and the shifter above the pivot point will move around as the part below the pivot point remains in the shift block. kinda hard to explain. Once you get the shifter out and are ready to put the knew one in, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I leave about a 1/64" gap just to make sure the tranny will get all the way in gear. To set the bottom stop you need to put the tranny in 4th and do the same thing. Run the shifter through all gears and make sure they all engage without the stops interfereing. it is pretty simple once you have it in front of you.

Here's what it looks like underneath the shifter.. Mine's a T56 but it should be the same idea.. Just stick it on and bolt it in place.. I reccommend using some loctite on the bolts that hold the stick to the shifter itself, they will loosen up after a bit and you'll be stuck with a sloppy stick and end up having to pull it apart again and do it anyway.. (ignore all the wire, I've fixed all that since, old pic)
