Car: 1984 Trans Am Stock

Engine: LG4

Transmission: 700r4

Rearend Problems

I have a 1984 Trans Am with a heavy duty 700r4 tranny, everything else is stock. I am going to swap in a 350 with about 350 horsepower and 400 pounds of torque. Will my stock rearend be able to handle this?

not sure you can say heavy duty and 700r4 in the same sentence. as for the rear end what it'll take depends alot on how you prep it and how you apply the power.
