shift kit question (does mine have one)

Engine: 350 bored 3 over, edelbrock 600cfm carb,Edelbrock Performer intake,
Transmission: 700R4, shift kit
shift kit question (does mine have one)

hey i bought a 700R4 tranny from a guy and he said it has a shift kit in it but is there a way i can make sure it does before i put it in my car because if it doesnt have one than i wont to buy on so please let me know.

Transmission: T56, 5-speed, 700R4, C4, T176, semi-auto 2-speed
Axle/Gears: 3.73, 3.90, 4.88, 3.55, 3.54, 7.00
Not easily. You'd have to pull the valvebody and seperator plate and see if either has been modified. You'll really have to know what you are looking at too. If it's a B&M kit you can check and see if the accumulators have been blocked solid with spacers (they use springs from the factory). TransGo kits don't do this though.
