my car shifts from first to second at 20 miles an hour.but won't shift to third gear.at 30 miles an hour,the rpm goes up but don't shift.please help.

 

If you have checked the fluid level, checked the kickdown cable adjustment is correct, checked the selector lever cable adjustment is fine, then i would say your box is going to need an overhaul.
I'm sure someone will add a few other things to test, but auto boxes are a bit of a speciality repair.

 

i changed the transmission oil and filter.i'll check what you told me to do.thanks.

 

check all the cables and are ok.i notice my oil pressure is at 60.could that be part of my transmission problem.thanks

 

Do you mean the Auto box oil pressure btw?
