trany codes

I was looking through the tech data and I was curious about the transmission codes. I did a search and couldn't find them. The 2 are M5 and A4. What transmission are these. I think the M5 is the T5. Is the A4 a 700r4?

4L60E would be an A4. T56 would be M6.

It's not a code, it's just an abbreviation.

A=automatic
M=manual
#=how many gears there are
