Differential cross pin bolt - source?
Spent the better part of today getting that miserable little bolt out of my rear end carrier after it broke. Where can I get a new one? Hate to go to the dealer, and a junkyard piece is probalby looking for trouble. Do parts stores carry them?

That's probably where I'll wind up but seems like that stuff takes forever to find in their system and they don't want to mess with it, can't really blame them either I guess. Wish I had a part number. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Good number, about two minutes in and out with two of the bolts. Two bucks each. Figure if I keep one in the tool box, Ill never need it. Thanks again for the help. For future searches:

They have to buy a box of 10 in order to be able to sell you 1, which leaves them with a part box of 9 sitting on the shelf tying up money in inventory which they aren't likely to recover any time soon. They'd rather just pass the entire cost on to you.

Rant for original parts..
Isnt this a gm part.
Why does gm part dealer have to pay for gm parts
Its the same company?
The last time I went to the dealer for a part (air deflector)
It was unavailable forever, considering that this model
was in production for 10 years I thought that was inconsiderate.. but the dealer said that after 10 years the
company isnt obligated to carry any parts for the car.
I thought to myself when he said that I wont be buying
a gm car again.
The celica I have is an 89. I can get any part from
the toyota dealer and Im pretty sure Gm sold alot more
Camaros then Celicas at least in the states. Also the model celica changed every 4 years..
I didnt thing an Auto part store will carry something like that
but Ill give it a shot..help section isnt that where the cheesy
looking stuff that has turned yellow is on the rotisserie.
