Feels Like TC Is Locked Up All The Time

i just got my car back from the mechanic, and he installed a new brake pedal switch for the TC clutch, and all new wiring because the torque converter wasn't locking up at all before...then i started thinking, and come to think of it, it feels like its locked up all the time now...

this is what it does, when i start slowing down to a stop, its real jerky, then when i'm almost to a stop, it like bucks the car real bad, like its a really solid downshift or something...but its real violent and gets the car jerking back and forth pretty good...i can usually stop it by downshifting manually...does this sound to you guys like its not unlocking or something??

i'm wondering if there is a way i can bypass something and diengage/engage the torque converter manually....because i'll i really need it for is like on the highway right?

this is a fully rebuild tranny and a new torque converter..i would really like to get this problem fixed, cuz its making it real hard to drive, and when you roll up to a stop sign or stop light, you aren't impressing anybody when the car is jerking all over the place..

Unplug the torque converter electrical connector and see if it behaves the same way.

okay...will that totally disengage it? because what the mechanic did was wire that sqaure plug into the computer/harness correctly, cause the previous ownder snipped all the wires....and i was driving it before he wired it in...and i'm 99% sure it acted the same way...

Without the connector plugged in it won't lock up.

okay i'll crawel under there and unplug it...what if it stills acts the same...do you have another suggestion at all? because its hard to have this thing as a daily driver and acting like this...also another thing i noticed...another real life situation to add to the all time lock up theory, i did a break torque today, and it was real hard to get the motor up to like 1500, but after that they busted loose and then spun, but under like 1500-2000, it felt like it just didn't want to climb rpms, so i'm thinking it was cuased by the TC being locked up...because its supposed to have a stall too, but it doesn't...
