1-2 upshift shudder, and 3-2-1 downshift clunk

Just had my transmission rebuilt, only had 75000 miles on it and it was toast...Previous owners of the car apparantly liked to drive the car really hard and put her away wet 3-4 band was burnt, reverse gear housing thingy was sheared off (the lil gear part sheared from the housing) all the clutches were burnt, and even some of the 3-4 clutches were chewed up.

So anyhow the whole thing was rebuilt with a 2600 stall converter. Blue raybestos clutch packs, a 1 inch wider 3-4 band, and a transgo stage 2 shift kit was installed, hardened reverse gear housing thingy (I cant remember what its called), vette 3-4 apply servo and .500 boost valve.

Everything else was still in good condition, so it was cleaned up and reassembled.

So on to the problem...On very light throttle ie: just a little above idle coasting on the pedal, after it shifts into 2nd gear at 16mph, the whole car shudders for about half a second.

Thinking it could possibly be the diff, I checked the diff oil which was fine, drained it, inspected the internals, and refilled it with nothing wrong visually speaking except 1 year old gear oil and a new gasket...

And finally, on the downshifts while coming to a stop, the gear shifts from 3-2-1 occasionally it will have a hollow metal clunk noise. Very prominent in the 2-1 downshift and not so noticeable in 3-2 downshift.

Is the TV cable out of adjustment possibly or something internally wrong with the transmission still?

Transmission mount is probably flexing too much. Swap to a poly mount. The extra kick from the shifts are probably what is causing the thing to shudder. Thats what the transmision guy told me. Then he showed me simply by lifting the transmission upwards with his hand. My stock mount is pretty mushy right now.

So will replace with a poly mount and hopefuly it will correct it. Will know once the engine is back together and tuned properly.
