scored (what I think) is a TH200-4R - build/install options help needed!!
I got this tranny out of a Chevrolet pickup recently - looks to be in very good condition - oil clean and reddish brown
it had a throttle valve cable similar to my 700R4 - a square pin plug connector on drivers side with three pins operational - fourth blank - the body of transmission is one complete unit - no extension piece at tailhousing like my 700-R4
and it has a tag riveted on at tailhousing on passenger side
# ON TAG: 222-IT850G0273
# ON SERVO COVER: LESTER-5 8635692
#ON TOP BELLHOUSING(LARGE PRINT): 402 X
#ON L.SIDE BELLHOUSING :HYDRAMATIC 864340005
Can you help ID tranny and possibilities for running in my 85 camaro
what spline main shaft and tailshaft?? ( i did not retrieve d/shaft yoke from pickup) and what interchanges can be made between 30 spline convertors and d/shaft yoke for 700R4 which is presently on my 85 camaro
what recommended build ups for manual shift install??
any help on way forward would be appreciated

Thanks for thread - it is a TH200-4R - so now - what can be done with it ?
Is it worth it to build up a TH200-4R as opposed to a TH350 - for when my 700R4 finally packs it in??

There's some guys on the C3 corvetteforum running into the 11's with the 200, seems they like it better than the 700 for the first to second gear split. The OD is the nice thing over the TH350.
From what I've gleened, looks like they are paying about 2K for the tranny from Art Carr and his new company (PT-something)...supposedly bulletproof...but, since you have all the hard parts, you have to be a few good bucks ahead.
