Torque arm mount busted, can this cause 80mph+ vibrations?
If any of you have been reading my posts, and I thank you for giving me some pointers, here's a little update. I jacked up the car and noticed that the mount that attaches the torque arm to the tranny is cracked and dry-rotted. Obviously this may, most likely is causing my "shift into gear/reverse-"CHUNK sound". But can it cause vibration above 80mph?
Something else to think about here, my rear sway bar endlinks are dryrotted and non-existant on the passenger side, and my car is in need of an alignment. Do you think that all of these combined will cause a vibration above 80mph? I have just today ruled out U-joints.

I wouldn't be surprised. At any rate, your problems require a fix. Try poly.

Those problems certainly don't help. Replace all mounts or links that need replacing and have tire balance checked.
