T56 and LT's

Just did like 40 minutes of searching and really didn't find what I was looking for. Basically, I am about to do a T56 swap into my 91Z that has hedman LT's on it. will I run into any clearance issues with the tranny and headers? Any people running hedmans with the T56? Just looking for some confirmation.

How do you have you exhaust routed after the LT's?

Well it comes off the x-tensions that hedman has to clear the floor and x-member. Goes into a kind of T-pipe right after the x-member then into an I-pipe that runs down the pass. side ds tunnel and dumps right before the rear axle. I can fabricate the exhuast after the collector...just wondering if I'll run into interference between the collector and clutch fork or bellhousing.

im running hedman tork-step long tubes in a 89 formula firebird. i just grinded on part of the 3 bolt flang and clearanced the bellhousing no big deal, if you can convert to a 6speed you can make it fit. mine did have the spinning flange on the header, a solid flange would probably be a pain.

i know the spinny flange works

later,
Jon

Tork Step are just about the same as the regular LT so maybe I'll get lucky. I'll let ya'll know when I get it done just so if this comes up again, someone will hopefully pull it up in a search.
