T5 with 2.73?
I'm swapping a WCT5 tranny and I was wondering if my 2.73s will work well. I've never worked on a rear end so I don't know quite what I'm looking for. I'm hoping around 300hp so I need something that will help me put down power rather than spin one tire. Could I upgrade to 3.42 or 3.73 gears with a posi?

Sure you could. The 3.23 or higher gears will need a "3 series" carrier rather than the 2 series the 2.73s fit upon.
2.73s + the T5 won't drive nearly as fun as higher gears. I'd go 3.73.

How hard would it be to change the gears and carrier? I have all new brakes so dropping the axle for a new one isn't looking too likely. Would getting used ones makes sense?
