A quick search on TGO and or on the net should yield you your answers.

otherwise some guy will be doing a search, open this thread, and just waste his time.

Whats the point of a 3.42 with a 4th gear 1:1 ratio on a 6speed. I could see it with a 5th gear 1:1 but not a 4th. You are rendering your 6th gear useless.

Heck, with 4.10's you would be doing 75mph in 6th gear @ 2000 rpms with that T56 gear ratio. The only time you could use 6th gear is if you are running the SilverState Classic with a 400+ hp motor and a suspension setup safe enough for 160+ mph because even then you are not going to be pushing through the air more than 3500rpms in top gear for over any 30 sec maximum interval

Well I am putting this tranny in a 500HP 383. That is gonna be my daily driver for 3 seasons a year. And I am gonna use it a lot on the highway. The 6th gear is really gonna help with gas, esspecially with the 4.10's in the 12 bolt.

But that is just me. In a stock 94 TA, it does seem a tad stange, but not realy. IMHO.
