another lockup wiring question

Transmission: S10-NV3500 5spd
another lockup wiring question
i tryed searching but cant really find what im looking for.
i have my 86 700r4 in my 91 s10 355 tbi. now when i had my 700 rebuilt back in highschool the guy put the TCC on a switch. the wires are red and orange W/black for the switch. then there is a green wire that goes up throught the engine bay and looks like it goes in a loom that loops back to the pass side of the dash.
my question is what is the green wire?
Oh and to add, my 86 camaro was a 305 computer controlled carb. and i switched to a 355 non CC carb set up. and i junked the carb and dropped it in my manual/tbi s10.

one question is your switch a lighting switch when iis on? red power, orange- black ground or to tranny, green ground or to tranny.
so is the s10 a 4x4? is it a pickup or blazer? mine is 83 s10 blazer and the 700r4 didnt like it when i went with a small block. blew it twice and now i have a th350 with 4 wheel drive.

its just a little 2wd shortbed shortbox s10. but the switch is for the TCC lockup. it worked fine in the camaro but now that im putting it in the s10 i need to figure out what the green wire is for because i had to clip it off when i pulled the 3pin harness out of the camaro. the orange w/black and the red are pos. neg. wired to the switch.

then the green wire goes to the trannies lock up wire. you could run your own wire to the trannies connector. right now im now sure witch wire on the connector is for the tc lock. you may have to drop the pan to find out witch one is for lock up.
so was the switch the only control for the lock up? im asking if you steped on the brakes did tc lock disengauge? or if you got on it did it stay locked or disenguage? just wondering
