T-56 Swap Question
I can get a 94 Z28, LT1/T56 w/110k miles on it for $1500. Car has a blown clutch. The tranny is solid as I drove it prior to the clutch going.
I am planning a T5 swap for my 87 IROC this winter but now this car is looking very enticing.
What parts from the tranny setup can I swap into my 3rd gen? My thought is probably the bellhousing, tranny, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and hydraulics?
I'd probably have to get a cross member, torque arm mount, clutch pedals and the dakota digital box seperately. Not a big deal as I can part this car and make all the money back for sure!
Thanks for your input in advance

you can use most of it for the swap. You will have to make or buy a trans crossmemeber. The flywheel may or may not work depending on if your engien is 1 or 2 piece rear seal. If its stock then it will work. Pedals will work with a few mods (do a search). stock driveshaft will work. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...aster+cylinder this is a good thread to answer alot of your questions...
