cheapest place to purchase 9" third members?

i have searched and looked but i cannot find a 9" third member than can handle more than 450 hp, and the ones that can cost upwards of 1200 bucks..... is there a place anywhere that sells a third member that can hold 700hp for say 800?

thank you

I use a factory C7AW case using 3.060" bearings with no problems. I use 31 spline Strange axles with a Strange steel spool. Unknown brand 4.56 gears with small diameter pinion. Solid crush sleeve.

I have an aluminum spool but I'm waiting until I get an aluminum third member before I install it.

weak

i found some third members on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...spagenameZWDVW

they can handle up to 450 hp but the guy said they could not warranty it past that, he also said he could build me a custom member with richmonds, and a detroit locker...... i'm just worried about one that can handle maybe a trip to the track once a month if that....

That's probably stronger than what I already use.

the center section i am going with has motive 4.11 gears, detroit true trac diff, all new timkin bearing, new seals, solid pinion spacer etc, all for 759.99.... i wish it had richmonds but i also hear motive is good as well, your opinion?

Nothing wrong with Motive gears. People are always hung up on brand names. For all I know, the gear set in my car is Motive. Local speed shop sells a lot of Motive gear sets too.
