Car: 88 camaro
Engine: 305 tbi (for now)
Transmission: auto
broke my car

i got my hurst dual gate shifter in today, while installing, went to remove stock cable, at tranny. it was rusted really bad so i sparyed it a couple time with pb blaster but the bolt still broke off. does anybody know how to remove this bolt and get a new one are am i sol.

Axle/Gears: Moser 12 bolt 411
Drill and tap it out . That is if you can get to it with the tranny still in the car . Do not know the bolt you are talking about because I have manual tranny . But I did rent a right angel drill once for a simular job a few years back . Hope this helps good luck

If you have an auto, you snapped the end off the shift shaft. The shaft and seal are sold thru gm for approx $12. You will need to drop the pan to access the clip and nut to remove it.
