replaced the cable and the tranny a couple of times and just modifyed the tv bracket as a last resort, and the tv cable still wont adjust correctly. ive posted about this before and no one seems to have the problem i have, if i adjust it with the gas pedal it shifts to early and soft. I love the torque of my tpi but IM TIRED OF THIS SH*T AND HAVE A STOCK 01 SS THAT WANTS SOME ATTENTION.


i've had 3 trannys in my car since the first on gave out, the first tranny the guy that did the rebuilt keep losing reverse/park he must of taken it out about three or four times and keep on telling me that it would be done in a couple of days, so i finally asked for my money back, he actually gave me a refund. and had a tranny that sort of work, well during this time i spun a bearing in the motor so in came a tpi crate engine from sdpc, and i purchased a tranny off ebay from monster motor sports and had it installed by a trans shop, well i raced a 99 ls1 ta and smoked him pretty good, But that was the end of that tranny a whole 2-3 weeks, so now i have a tci street fighter from summit, it was installed by a local mechanic that has a couple of third gens that run 11's, he did a good job and installed a cooler at no addtional charge, and found the problem the first tech didnt figure out , he could get park/reverse because of the shifter cable and not the tranny.
