Transmission: Monster 700R4

tranny swap

i was wonder if a 700r4 out of an 89 350 suburban would work well im my 89 gta which has a 383( i blew 3rd gear), would there be any performance loss?

As long as it is a 2 wheel drive, it will work fine.

Yes and no. Gear ratio,s are the same. Different governor(probably) different servo, lower stall converter(compared to stock) Basicly the same. Tail housing is different. All of your stuff could be swapped over though.
