t56 slave cylinder question
Next week I'm planning to put my engine and tranny back in the car, already bolted up together. I'm still waiting to get the slave cylinder from the guy I bought the t56 from. Is it hard to install the slave with the tranny in the car? I've never had a manual before so I'm still learning how everything works.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Doesn't matter whether it's hard or not; it's really about the only way.
But, it's not really a problem. It's the way most everybody always does it, and especially when it has to be changed due to a failure or whatever.

Thats funny I just got though doing this today .I went from a stock t-5 slave to an t-56 setup due to failure of stock stuff . I do not know about auto to man set up , but getting the old unit out was a pain . The hardest part was loosing the brake booster to gain room . Once the old one was out the t-56 setup went right in . Make sure you take out the front seat so you have room .
