should i sue the company??
i purchased a rebuilt 700R4 transmission from a local company where i lived in new brunswick. when i first called for a quote i told them i wanted a 700r4 that i could use for street/strip, the motor would have over 325+ horsepower. they gave me a quote and i agreed. since then the transmission has been back to the garage 3 times to be fixed, from flairing. the last time was 3 months ago he put new clutches in it, he said they were burnt out, about a week later i moved, and got the car towed up here to ontario and its been doing it since i brought it up here and driving around. im fed up and am calling them monday morning.
i cant bring the car back there as its 12 hours away, what should i give them for options??
ship the transmissio back to the be fixed, money back(not sure, they prolly wanna fix it since its under warranty), or call a lawyer if they dont cooperate.

that tends to be a common problem with 700s. when i had a 700,i had a constant flare up in the 2-3 shift. i corrected it by installing a corvette servo. you can get one on ebay for 12 bucks or so. ive read all over the place the the corvette servo corrects this problem 99% of the time. fixed mine.

Tampering with the transmossion such as installing that servo may void any warranty of the transmission. I would ship it back to them and let them pay the shipping if at all possible.

Ask them to make it the way they said they would. IE work under the conditions you requested. Do you have this in writing? If not then be nice to them and hope they will fix it.
If you got it in writing and they are not agreeing then you can persue legal avenues. A very good friend of mine is a top Toronto lawyer so if it comes down to that then PM me. If he can take on the largest bank in the country and the Toronto police and win then he should be good. I'll set you up. They won't know what hit them.
Always get agreements in writing with a signature. Then you have something to fall back on.
