Axle/Gears: Moser/ 4.11
Driveshaft size???
How big or strong of a driveshaft do you think I need for some hard street use but mostly normal driving with a T-56 and a 500 peak HP motor. probably somehting like 480 TQ, flywheel.

Inland Empire told me 3.5" Alum with at least 1330 (or better 1350) solid Spicer joints would hold me to 550 hp or so. You have to watch because some driveshaft makers use thinwall tubing that is not as strong.

yes its all about the wall thickness
typically larger diameter shafts were thinner walled than smaller diameter shafts
in most all factory installations anyways
