Hello,
I would like to put a 5 speed it the wife's 89 Formula. What year(s) should I look to for the pedal's and assemblies.

im pretty sure you can use anything from 85-92 camaro or firebird not sure about the other years though. good luck

 

93-97's Also work if you slice off the gas pedal bracket & drill out the top 2 holes on the MC bracket to 1/2". Got a set on mine.

 

So are you saying that it is an easy swap for a six speed as well from a 4th gen?

What is involved with that? Thanks

from what i researched and what other people said a 6 speed is fairly simple except you have to:
1) shorten the driveshaft and rebalance it.
2)get a new cross brace to hold the trans.
3)convert to electronic speedometer depending on the year of the f body.

this is other peoples information though i 'm just reposting it.
