By Transpak I take it your talking about the B&M shift kit correct?

It will make the shifts harder, its about all their shift kits do.

I would personally go with the TransGO shift kit instead. They actually engineer their kits to fix factory issue sin the trans and to shift firm under part throttle and hard under WOT. Much better overall solution.

Also note on anything Hypertech concerning our cars, ask anyone who has compared them side by side to factory proms. You are doing nothing other than wasting your money. Learn to do your own proms or become friends with someone who can

Thanks for the info I'll take the jet chip back then it hasen't been opened yet so it shouldn't be any problem anything else recommended would also be greatly appreciated. I'm on a tight budget so every little bit helps. I'm not trying to make a race car but I do want to turn heads of those Mustang geeks who think they have something

Well for playing with the trans, I would get a Trans Go kit hands down.

Maybe a nice converter to go with it if u can swing it.

U will be lots better off asking questions and searching here for answers than u will be by buying whatever magazine hype u see :-)

Lots of smart folks here.

Prom burrning board is a great resource here also, just expect to read a whole lot for it all starts clicking.

Search for "free mods" and the like and you should net lots of cheap/free ideas that will work on TPI cars

sounds like the trans-go kit is the way to go. thanks again, the prom burning sound all well and good, but I've read a few posts on it and I didn't understand any of it would it be better to find a reliable source to burn mine?
