We stripped 2 of the left hand threaded bolts on my 9 bolt rear ends ring gear. Problem is they are discontinued from gm and ratech, reider and west coast differentials said they arent available. Does anyone have 2 of them laying around or from a junk rear?? HElp I dont want to scrap this rear end.

 

i still got my 2.77 posi i swapped out in my garage... I'll check to see if i have any bolts for the ring gear left. i might have reused them for the 3.27 swap...i actually dont remember LOL. i'll let u know sometime soon. i'm at school now. i'll call my house and have my dad check

and i'm also looking to swap in a 4th gen rear next spring so i know i will definately have some left over when i take mine 9 bolt out... but i know you cant wait that long

my question is....did you find out they were left hand thread by stripping two going the wrong way

 

LOL I felt like an idiot they even had a big L on them. But the impact didn't know the difference.
