tv cable adjustment

Can someone give me a better step by step process on how to do this...and some better pics. The tech guide isnt all that great (no offense)

Axle/Gears: 3.73; 3.42
the tried and true way is to set it all the back (towards the firewall) and then connect it back to the carb/throttle body and open the throttle to full. This will adjust the calbe and give you the max setting. You shouldn't go any more than a couple clicks past this though.

ok heres how i did it...i pushed the button on the kickdown and pushed the place tab that comes out alll the way back into the button assembly like so..heres a before and after illustration..

then i press the button until the tab came out far enough to reach the wot postition..then i pressed the button again and pushed the tab back again as to wear the pyramid is flush with the button assembly again..

now it shifts really good and has great response when i mash the peddle to the floor..down shifts great
