Tranny slips when cold
When my car is cold the transmission seems to slip when going from a dead stop after about 2 minutes of driving it is fine and there are no problems. Any ideas what it could be i have not had a chance to check the fluid yet but it should be full. It was rebuilt about 70,000 miles ago. It is a 700-R4

I have the same tranny in a 91 RS with a 305 TBI.. I have changed fluid and filter and it still does it.. shifts HARD into drive, and slips going up then shifts hard. Once the car is warmed up, it runs fine.. not sure what the heck is going on, but any help is GREATLY appreciated. It just started about a month ago with 220,000 miles on it.
