LS1 rear end queston

I know this has been asked a million times but I just want someone to correct me if I'm wrong. I found a posi 3.42 rear out of a 2002 WS6 that I'm about to buy, my car is an 87 camaro.
It will bolt up correct with the only mods being the rear brakes and e-brake cable? Also I've heard that it will make the tires stick out a little, will that be the case with 4th gen wheels on the rear? Thanks,

Mike

if you use 4th gen wheels in the back, the alignment will be okay..
