engine mounts broke!?!!?!!?!
hi this isnt about my camaro but my gf car. its a 92 sundance duster 3.0 auto. we were driveing and teh whole engine shifted forward dicconecting from the trans and all the tranns fruid came out the car was jerking and now its stuck on teh side of the road. does this sound liek the engine mouts broke? i mean the hoeses and the engine is all against the radiator. i can see almost inside the tranny if i look under the car. please any advice would help. what u think happened.

I guess anything's possible, but it kinda sounds like the trans bell housing bolts were loose and finally worked themselves out to me. -Unless the massive torque that the 92 sundance duster 3.0 engine produces flat-out sheared all the tranny bolts clean off! j/k

Inboard CV-joint failure can occur with bad motor mounts on FWD chrysler vehicles like those. Seen it on many cars. The motor mounts are adjustable too, so make sure to follow the right procedure to align everything, or it will happen again.
