Just want to make sure it fits...

Just want to be sure that this rear dif cover will clear a Z28 rear swaybar.
It's jeg's aluminum rear end support cover made by LPW racing products. product # 619-301-7.5G or look here:
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...chItemId=14493

No issues with the main bearing caps?
Thanks for any info.

It will fit but you probbly will have to take the sway bar off to get cover on.

The Z28 should have a larger dia. rear sway bar than my 88 RS does, and I just got my TA alum. cover to slide in between the bar and rear end.

Here's 2 pics of mine installed. http://community.webshots.com/photo/...41290424mByxEX

Thanks nightrider,
So by pulling the sway bar down, - this will aid installation and besides this, there are no clearance issues?
TIA

kaptinkafeen.. Yeah no other clearance probs than that. The bar and cover will both fit once one, but it's a tight fit to put the cover on with the bar still there cause of the way you have to angle the cover and slide it into place, but once sitting flat on rear end then the bar fits back good with a slight clearance between the cover and it.
