t56 master???????

did anyone have to push the master cylinder in before it would line up with the clutch pedal I CANT get the master to push in with my hand at all i made a bracket to fit the pedal i have but still i cant push pedal down is the first initial push just hard?? my pedals are from a 4 speed car THANKS

I don't think the geometry is correct on the 4 spd pedals since they are designed for mechanical linkage. 84 & later pedals have a weird bend at the top where the mc rod attaches. It actually pushes the rod down at about a 45 degree angle instead of pushing mechanical rod straight forward to the Z bar. I have been messing around with this myself, if the pivot point is changed or the angle of push the mc rod will bind.
