i have a 85 camaro with an automatic. i'm currently doing the t56 swap and was curious if the starter that is on my car now can be used for the swap or do i have to get a new one? if the old one can't be used can i use the one from the donor car (96 firebird)?

also how do you hook up the basic electrical to the t56?like the reverse lights, reverse lockout, push clutch in to start car, etc? is it all basic(meaning already existing wires from the automatic to hook up to the t56) or do i have to do some snippin and crimpin?

 

if anyone know any info please tell me i need all the help i can get
