i know thruogh the years there have been leaps in manual trannies. i love rippen thru gears. i know back in the day the 4speeds could handle some seriouse power, then died out in the late 70's-80 and now i hear some 6 speeds are pretty stout. i dont have an actual plan for a car yet. id rather build a drivetrain first then build the car around it. i know its most likley going to be an engine in the 400hp range. what are some good reliable (as in daily driver weekend warrior) manual transmissions that can take a beating?
