Axle/Gears: 28 spline, 3.42 gears, SLP Posi
IIRC 5 speed f bodys come STOCK with 3.42s... so only upgrade to 3.73s if your unhappy with what you have. JMO

Gears are roughly $165, install/rebuild kit is about $100, figure $250 or so for labor.
For parts try www.ringpinion.com best quality and price. You can get cheaper gears, but they are made in China, and I wouldn't recommend them.
Look for a local 4x4 shop for the install. They do gears all the time, so their prices are typicaly the best around.
