i just got the t56 in and running this week, i have the computer re-tuned and new injectors, man what a diff. this car is so much fun. i shifted in to second and stepped on it and wow it went sidways. I cant believe it is the same car it runs so much diff the it did with the 700r4 and the lt1. oh the only thing that is strange is that after coming off the highway it dont want to come out of 6th gear till almost stoped? it only does it in 6th not 5th. i was just wondering if maybe it is do to the syncros being new and need to be broke in. i was thinking to drive it for a week or so and see what happens. well was just curious if any of you all have had this issue with you t56. other then that i love shifting gears it is the way a sports car should be.

 

How much did it cost you to do the swap, if I may ask?
6 speed 3rdgen sounds like fun.

 

well all togeather it ran me alittle more then it could have but still a good deal 1500.00. thats about the going rate for the swap. well worth it, i will be doing this mod to the gta when i get that far.

 

6-speed is well worth the fun...had a 92 trans am with it and what fun it was.....wish sometimes I didn't sell it

 

i agree with that this car will be in my stable till i die. my son will get this car when he is old enough to handle the power
