what would be my best route to go? i'm installing a 350 in place of my 3.1 and was wondering would i be better off with a th350 or a v8 700r4? i've heard that a stock 350 is stronger than the 700r4 but, if i used a 700r4 wouldn't have to modify any mounting and i could use my old driveline. but, a th350 is easier to find and probably cheaper! any suggestions almighty guro's????

 

If you are not going beat the snot out of it, I would go with the 700R4. Then you would have the advantage of overdrive.

 

Both are pretty easy to find. For a driver, 700 will give much better mileage.

 

i'm not planning on drag racing it but, i am planning on a mildly built 355! my brother used to have a pontiac grand prix that had a 700 in it with a bada$$ 383 roller, it used to set u back into the seat hard, so i think a 700 would be just fine! i would like overdrive!!
