pilot bearing install question.
I just got this pilot bearing from NAPA. which side do I install facing out? Also how deep do I put it into the back of the crank. It looks like it could go back further than it needs to but I might be nuts.
Pic 1 .
EDIT: I forgot to post the pic of the other side before I left home. Will do it tonight.

The side you're showing, is the back side.
The "front" side (the side you see after it's put in) has a little rubber seal in it, to keep the grease from leaking out around the clutch gear pilot. That side also has a little radius or chamfer to help guide the clutch gear in.
Put it in to just under flush with the surface it goes in; like, .015" - .030" below.

Do I need to add any additional grease to the bearing? It looks like it is pregreased.
Thanks for the replies. That really cleared it up.
