thinking about the t5 swap- pedals

hey guys, im thinking about doing the auto to manual conversion. i think i can do everything but dont know about the pedals. they seem pretty hard? wats the worse case if i messa up here?

worst case is cutting the clutch hole in the worng place and having to re-cut.

Axle/Gears: Moser 9"/4.11 Trac-Lok
Other than the hole cutting mentioned above it's a bolt in deal. You can use any pedal set from an 84 to 97 F Body. 93-97 pedal have to be modified by cutting off the gas pedal bracket & enlarging the two upper bolt holes.

I did the auto - T5 swap. I'll be honest, the pedals are a little trickey. It's the whole laying on the door sill upside down between the seat and the kick panel thing that sucks. It's very uncomfortable, and I found that I could only lay like that for a few minutes at a time before I started to feel a little lightheaded.

Do yourself a favor if you do this swap. Definatly drop the steering column down, it gives you access to tricky bolts. You might even want to remove the driver's seat to give yourself some more room to lay. Just and idea.

Remove the seat & put a heavy towel or blanket over the studs. It's a whole lot easier, especially on my 40 something year old bod.
