Ok I read the tech info on the thirdgen page, and went and bought a transmission setup. The problem is that I have a non-hydraulic clutch, and I read that I need a hydraulic one.
Here are the specs.
83 Firebird 48k original miles
currently 700r4
stock 2.8 carbureted
everything else is stock

I want to put in the T5 i have from an 83 v6 that is non-hydraulic. Is this possible, and how hard is it? If you need any more details please ask, Gary.

as for the mechanical clutch linkage sry man cant help ya there, i have never messed with it. but i did my own T5 swap on my 85 camaro and start to finish took me around 9 hours. ummm idk what else your looking for but i can help as much as possible.
