ive got an 85 iroc with a305 hi output and i was wondering how much power these trannys can hold up to before they need upgraded

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.73 gears
its not a world class if it is stock...i think the basis is around 275 torque? anyways it is very dependant on how you drive it. some people put 383s behond these and just drive carefully and they are fine. others break on stock cars. it just happens sometimes. how much power are you planning on making.

i was hopeing for around 400 but it all deoends on the money i can get together seeing as how i go to school full time and work full time
