Stock Torque Converter for 84 Trans Am

Does anyone know the stall speed of the stock Torque Convertr that came standard in the 1984 Trans Am's with a 700R4 and 305 H.O. motor? I'm looking at installing a new cam and need to know what sort of stall speed the stock converter has. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

I'm fairly certain all thirdgen V8 automatics came with 1600 rpm stall converters.

The reason I ask is that the cam I am looking at says it requires a 2000rpm stall. Comp Cams confirmed that I will need a stall converter for best effectiveness. So if the stock is 1600, then I'll need to start looking at a new stall converter. Thanks for the info!
