No fluid in the cooler lines
Well after dropping the "new" bad transmission while removing them, there was no oil in the lines. I drove the car around for a while, less than two miles, but I didn't have the TV Cable set up correctly. I didn't have the original TV Cable because the flywheel ate it one day while starting the car to keep the battery charged. So I used one that came with the tranny which is an aftermarket one specifically for Cameros and Firebirds. So wouldn't there be oil in the lines if they were not plugged with particals when the original tranny shot to crap. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I can barely understand what I am saying. Thanks to anyone reading and/ or answering.

My brain hurts from reading that
Were the lines dry? You should have cleaned them out before installing the new trans. Speaking of which, do it now to see if they are plugged.

Yes the lines were dry. The car sat for 9 months before I bought a new tranny, so whatever was in the lines surely dripped out. I plan on flushing the lines and cooler before putting the new tranny in. Sorry about the post, when I wrote it thats how it came out from my head and I tried to correct it, but just couldn't fix it. I don't know why I didn't flush out the lines the first time around, I just wasn't thinking.

If I'm not mistaken fluid doesn't normally flow until the TCC locks up. With no TV cable (or a maladjusted one), and especially if you didn't get over 40+mph in that 2 miles, it would not surprise me if the lines were still dry.

fluid still flows even if the tcc isn't locked. if it didn't, you wouldn't have fluid pressure to apply pistons, lube, or anything. sounds to me like something is plugged.

No, there's always flow through the cooler.
