Car: 87 Trans Am, 2002 Ford Focus hatchb

Engine: 305

Transmission: Auto

Axle/Gears: 2.73

8.2 and 8.5 10 bolts

I need a easy way to determine if i have a 8.5 10 bolt or a 8.2 10 bolt. if i have a 8.5 i will stick with my 10 bolt as is, but if not its gone. I know the little trcik of gettin under and checking bolt size but it is raining today and i cant. Can some one help?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86

The factory 10 bolt in your car is a 7.5/7.625 10 bolt.
